We reizen af naar Jersey op 2 augustus 2013 en eindigen onze DX-peditie op 9 augustus 2013.We maken gebruik van de accommodatie van het JARS HQ (Jersey Amateur Radio Society HQ) en zullen actief zijn op alle HF-banden (160-10m). Ook de "magic band", 6m komt in de aandacht. We zullen uitkomen in SSB, CW en natuurlijk ook PSK en RTTY.
Het MJ/OT9Z team bestaat uit drie radioamateurs:
Frederik ON8ZL (team leader) zal te horen zijn in SSB en CW.
Peter ON8ZZ zal te horen zijn in SSB en PSK/RTTY.
Frank ON5NQ zal te horen zijn in SSB.
Peter ON8ZZ zal te horen zijn in SSB en PSK/RTTY.
Frank ON5NQ zal te horen zijn in SSB.

EG5SUB - S-61 submarine DELFIN

For the second time consecutively the Radioaficionados of the Vega Baja (ARVB) and the local section of URE Orihuela will return to activate the S-61 Submarine DELFIN located in the port of Torrevieja (Alicante) with the call sign “EG5SUB”.They will start on Saturday, 1st of June at 9 am GMT through Sunday, 2nd in the evening using several modalities of transmission, digital SSB and CW, in the HF bands.

On the occasion of the international exhibition Museum Ships Weekend Event on 1-2 June 2013, radio amateurs of ARI Fidenza Club will activate a radio station II4BTK nearby the portion of the yacht Elettra kept at the Museum of Villa Grifone in Pontecchio Marconi (BO). The "Elettra" yacht was the “mobile laboratory” of the great scientist Guglielmo Marconi, on board of which were carried out important experiments related to radio communications.QSL Manager: IQ4FE

Op zondag 5 mei 2013 is het precies 90 jaar geleden dat de radiotelegrafieverbinding tussen Nederland en voormalig Nederlands Oost-Indië, werd gelegd. Het voormalige zendstation Radio Kootwijk herdenkt deze historische dag door opnieuw radioverbinding te leggen met Indonesië.
PI90PCG zal actief zijn van 4 tot en met 28 mei 2013.
BCA - Referentielijst Belgian Castles Award

Eric ON7RN (BCA Manager) en Paul ON6DP hebben vele maanden gewerkt aan de referentielijst van de Belgische kastelen en stellen ons vandaag het resultaat voor. De lijst vermeldt ongeveer 2100 referenties.
Het samenstellen van deze gegevensbank lag niet voor de hand, omdat dikwijls naar kastelen wordt verwezen met verschillende benamingen in de loop van hun geschiedenis. Gelukkig is er het internet en Google EARTH. De lijst zal nu worden aangevuld met nieuw ontdekte kastelen in België en gegevens op basis van nieuwe aanvragen door radioamateurs.
Het bestand is ENKEL beschikbaar in leesformaat en aanvragen voor nieuwe referenties moeten worden gericht aan Eric, on7rn [at] eudxf [dot] de.
Voor uw GSM of Smartphone bestaat er een .KMZ of .KML bestand, op eenvoudige vraag beschikbaar.
